Jsut been to Wyevale to get some canes and a bag of compost...
Came out with more seeds (this years stock is at 50% off, a bunch of organic chilli/pepper (should also do toms I guess) fertilizer at a quid a kilo for 4:4:16 NPK, a big plastic cloche (it's bigger than most coldframes,. is the best part of a metre tall and looks like a small greenhouse, about 2 metres long, metre wide, metre high but very robust plastic cover (that stuff with the green string in) for 20 quid and some chicken pellets (12 quid for 10Kg bucket or two for 15, that's an easy decision).....
Our local Wyevale is now more like a proper garden centre than it's usual; lgift shop!....Hurrah... :)
