A friend who is a professional gardener recommended this place in Brockley Combe about 10 miles from Bristol http://www.fountaintimber.co.uk/
Went there this morning and was so impressed. It is set in a beautiful forest which looks a great place to go walking. The quality of the things they make is excellent, it is all really solid, and a lot of it is half the price you would pay elsewhere. Their sheds cost a bit more than B&Q/Argos, but the quality is 10 times better. Their pergolas and arches look strong enough to climb on, unlike the flimsy overpriced rubbish you get in some garden centres.
Am very tempted by their swing seat, it was very comfortable as well as looking beautiful...
I know just where you mean ,we've bought several lot's of wood there and have always been very impressed.I fell in love with some of their garden furniture as you say it's smashing quality. On a lighter note we live in nearby WSM and travel along the A370 before turning up the lovely wooded hill to Fountains when the children were smallwe called this place "where the indians are "and they would spend their time peering into the trees as we drove. :)Even now as adults we still refer to that road as"where the indians are " and we all know where we mean ;D
