last thursday i planted my seeds they have already sprouted they are 3inches tall the question is
when they go into the next pot do they get buried so only the two tiny leaves are showing ???
cheers in advance for the replys
It's a bit early for tomatoes, March or even April is more usual. They will need a lot of TLC being sown this early. I take it they are in a propagator, if they have 2 sets of true leaves take them out & pot them on. Do you have a heated greenhouse?
I started some off this time last year. Grew okay I suppose but they were the last to ripen. Going to wait till end March/beginning April this year.
Sounds like they are etiolating, they need more light.... Thankfully tomatoes are one of the worlds champion growers of adventitious roots so you can get away with sinking them in when repotting.... Are they in just a tray (in which case start thinking about pricking out) or moduless (leave em for a few weeks?

Yes
If they have gone very long and spindly, it might be worth starting again.
