its me again with a question! does anyone know where i can order a sack of king edwrad seed spuds please? what i mean is does anyone have any `gem` sites for me to have a look at please?!! ;) ;)
We ordered ours from D.T.Brown. They have already arrived.Just waiting on the Swift,Charlotte and international kidney.Delayed due to the freezing weather.

Massive choice too! You'll hear lots of folks on here talking about AR and JBA, they're both v. popular for good prices and both have a reputation for good service. If you've got a good garden centre to you locally (look for the thread on potato days and individual tuber suppliers) then you should have the useful facility to pick up small numbers of lots of varieties... Charlton Park near Wantage is my closest and well worth my 20-mile round-trip......

If you are buying online then JBA or Alan Romans are 2 of the best companies around. A potato day gives you much more choice of varieties & you can buy single tubers so you only buy what you need. If you want to buy single tubers of multiple varieties but don't have a potato day near you then you can buy them online from brookside nurseries (http://www.brooksidenurseries.co.uk/spw.php?unit=singles).
Sites like suppliesforsmallholders may be fairly cheap (for retail prices) but the average person here is growing on an allotment or in their garden so they don't need or have room for 300 odd seed potatoes of any given variety.

Everyone will find a different way to buy their seed potatoes and I think potato days are great and have created a huge amount of publicity for the seed potato market. As long as you get the potatoes that you want then that is all that matters. Cornykev the cheque is in the post :D
I tried selling individual tubers online once but after a week I was going crazy after having to label each spud ;D
