Pic I took at Loch something or other in Scotland a couple of years back :)  I had Robert Brenchley's 'frost' picture as my wallpaper for quite some time, then I had Carol's 'frost' picture - again for quite some time!

Yes, that's our springer spaniel Meggie after she went for a dip in the sea.

I find it easier to have a desktop picture that is not too dark then all the icons (shortcuts) show up easier, unless, of course, the picture is reduced in size and is centred in the middle.   I have 50 shortcut icons on mine and have them around the edges so I can still see Meggie.

That;s the screen-saver, you can set it to do that.  I've got my work one set on that and it goes through all sorts of stuff, including documents that I've scanned.  Much more fun with pics of the garden and pets.

Don't know if you were asking for this or not, but probably most computers have it. So pardon me if you weren't.
If you click on your computers "Preferences" menu and then click on screen savers you can refer it to a folder of your favorite pictures and how often you want them to come up.

At least that's how mine works.

On my desktop, I have a slide show too - love it. On my laptop pc I change the photograph every few days, currently one of a snowy garden. Surprise that, given my phobia to the stuff. Spect I'll change it tomorrow.

It can be done with wallpapers too.  My husband has a random wallpaper changer so he gets to see more of his hotties  >:( (I don't appear to be among them ....)  ;D ;D
