Title: Feel Good Songs?
Post by: SamLouise on January 14, 2010, 21:48:43
I want to make my sister a CD of feel good, singalong happy songs.  Does anybody have any favourites or suggestions they'd like to put forward?  You know the sort - the ones you can't help singing along to after they've started even though they're not your favourite songs, LOL.

I do have some in mind and I do know some of her favourites but not enough to fill an 80 minute CD!  Thanks very much :)

Anything from  Gene  Pitney  CD when I need to get moving to do housework  and I can't. A real get going one.
Especially..".I'm gonna  be strong"  has to be very loud though..oh the crescendo at the end.It never fails.

For the romantic..  "The first time ever I saw your face "

or the theme from Love Story " Where do I begin"

Sam, if your sister is an Elvis fan, "Return to Sender" is one of the best to sing along with.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftMm7l-Tzo0
or
"Can't help falling in love with you"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFSfdL5lPoY

I forgot to mention Barry White in my suggestions before.
"You Are The First, My Last, My Everything"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fcd3XuQwDQQ

Rod Stewart has some good catchy numbers including this one.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpbuqh12oj4
