as the title says im itching to start seedlings but from what i have read im to early
who is sowing what at this time for the allotment?
Well.....
Chillis esp some of the longer varieties like nagas.
Big onions like kelsea
maybe Mizuna
Some people like to get some toms going
Personally I have a few chillis and thats it - I try to resist going to early. Everything tends to get leggy if left indoors with low light and too much heat. Make do with reading the seed catalogs.. ;D
Nothing yet... here. :-\
keep it coming
the OH will be delighted that its chillitime :Pand big onions gonna give that a go ;D
Just waiting for February and improving weather :),

Er - where IS the greenhouse????
In my case it will be my new cold frame :)
Made a start today!
Sowed three lots of onions (Granex, Kelsae and Red Brunswick) and six varieties of sweet pea.
Put a few Lupins, Crocosmia & allium in as well.
Found out that my new heater is being shipped tomorrow so I hope it arrives before these seed germinate!
just sowed cauliflower (mayflower) to harvest may-June
Most of my onions are potted on, just waiting for any stragglers to germinate My first lot of tomatoes are through, some potted on.
Planted some Radish in boxes with shallots.
My leeks are Yorkshire Greens/blues, 164, intermediate, blanch and cumberlands are about pencil thick.
Thinking about setting some potatoes away in tubs.
waiting a couple of weeks then some tomato seed go in ;D
I'm planting nothing this month, but I'll probably start the toms next. The last planting I did was paeonies, hellebores and trilliums in autumn, as they normally need at least one winter (Hellebores) or two (paeonies and trilliums). Some of the fresher hellebore seed is up already.
