Post by: davyw1 on January 08, 2010, 16:35:41
On his visits to land of chimpchokers.

Had a stroll around the beach banks this afternoon and for once i had a camera with me so i thought o would show you my one of my childhood play areas.

The Pit Dene we used to get wild tomatoes at the bottom.

In the far distance was where they made part of the Get Carter film.

Looking south right up until the 50s people used to live on the banks and was a very popular holiday area.

your photos made me wish I'd got myself along there in the snow- very atmosheric. I love the wild flowers in the summer too.
