Pulled the doctor out of the hedge, ran a few careers around to their clients. Delivered a few groceries here and there. Next time you want to slag off 4x4's just think back.
Keep up the good work ACE ;D
Well at least you know how to drive a 4X4.
Good man!
I only rant on the Dulwich Slummy Mummy brigade who drive Jocasta and Hermiony the 400 yards to school everyday!
Well done it's good to have caring people around, however I am staying firmly indoors until my little very downhill road is safe again.

Somehow that dosn't not look right to me. I just think it is like CAR EARS instead of CARE ERS. It's weird how certain words can throw you ???
Anyway, we don't do snow over here and the gritter can't cope with this sort of really cold weather. So the health authority has put out a request for 4x4 owners to help get essential staff to work in the hospital. They can cover insurance and fuel payments. So it looks like another busy day tomorrow. I have bunged half a yard of grit in the back of the Ford Ranger to give the back wheels some grip. The lady down the road in her Discovery came and asked me how the levers work for her 4 wheel drive. They have had the thing for a few years now, So I advised her that now was not the best time to see if she could handle it.

Good drivers in 4x4s are fine, but not the one that caused the three car shunt I was in on Weds. :(

Hope you are alright and the only damage is the car.
Thankfully it was only the car and not me! I can only presume that as we were all stationary he thought he would be able to stop in time......but he didn't.
I won't be out in the car again till it is all all clear - so it will be walking to work again next week!
