I know I shouldn't, but have been really looking forward to youngest going to school all day.... I have been doing the luchtime pick ups for 6 years with all of them at some stage and have left all my coursework to the last minute thinking I will have full days on my own to finish it.
So first day of school today, take OH to work and pull up in car to drop my lovely children off on their first day of school after xmas..... Youngest promptly throws up everywhere...
Poor little mite is currently sat on the sofa wrapped in a duvet with a hot water bottle after being hosed down.
So instead of a quiet day doing my coursework in peace, am washing and plucking up the courage to go and scrape vomit from the inside of my car..... yuck!!! serves me right for leaving everything to the last minute ::) ;D ;D ;D
Life is like that... my eldest came home worse for wear last night (actually I went and got him) he was sick but had wound the window down... (training!!) :-X
Poor things :(
Hope they both feel well soon.
Don't feel sorry for mine... he'd been on the razz... >:(

LOL, ok I take back the sympathy and do this ::) at him instead.
At least your training worked.
Life's like that - every year I promise I'm going to be more organised but somehow it never happens.
Hope little one feels better soon.
Oh dear the car is going to stink for weeks :-X Little one decided to throw up all over the car while stuck in traffic on the motorway once oh the joy of moving at 5 miles per hour trying to get to a service station!! We finally got there took her out of the car and she threw up all over me ::) Joys of being a parent ;)
hope the little one feels better soon xx
Not looking forward to my kids coming home after being on the razz, I'm going to sound like my mum "self inflicted so you wont get any sympathy from me" ;D
A fair few years yet though ;)
Think she feels better already.... asking for food because she says she feels empty, not impressed at all about my suggestion of toast ;D
Saddad, will have to train mine in future... don't 'do' vomit despite their many attempts at trying to train me! :P
Have long come to the conclusion that organisation is for other people, life would soon become boring without a mass panic to try and find/ do something at the last minute!!!! :)
Coznbob, it's not easy to run a house, take care of the family and do course work. I speak from experience as I found it very difficult 12 years ago trying to juggle everything around. I also had a Saturday job. Consequently, I missed my first class honours by an average of 1 to 2 marks, mainly lost in exams as I didn't have time to revise.
Good luck in your studies and I hope your little girl is well soon.

My eldest won an award for the "Best timed Vomit" as he was sick as he got out of the coach on a trip to France.... (He hadn't been drinking!) Was frequently sick when the movement stopped.... :P
Aah-what a shame! Lunchtime pick-ups mess your whole day don't they-it's great when they go full-time!! ;D
Even though I've had two children, worked in pubs and work with under 5's now-I CAN'T do vomit, no, no, no!
