Title: Inspired by Sparkly
Post by: SMP1704 on January 04, 2010, 15:57:48
...........to post an allotment diary on Youtube.

Thanks to Sparkly for the tip about Windows Moviemaker, it was dead easy.  I haven't added music - I always mute the music when looking at vids on Youtube.

What do you think?  should I add music or OK as it is??

Great stuff.....so how did you go about producing your slideshow, via Photobucket or similar?

Deb, following Sparkly's recommendation I downloaded Microsoft Moviemaker.  If you can use Powerpoint, this is dead easy, just drag and drop your photos, arrange them in the order you want, add captions (or not) and it gives you a direct link to Youtube - easy peasy.

So when are we going to see yours ;)

I have movie maker on my computer.  I did not think I had enough photos but actually seem to have lots.  So how to I get it into YouTube?

Click on the home tab in moviemaker and look along the top bar to the right and you will see 'sharing', click on the youtube logo and follow the instructions and there's your video for the world to see and wonder...............

Well I seem to have downloaded it to Youtube but when I play it an error occurs.  Presume that since it is my first video that someone moderates it.

Ohh err - need a youtube expert for this one..........

What sort of error?  The initial upload can take up to 5 hours before the picture quality is at its best - not sure what to suggest.
