when someone's got a spare week or three, could they please explain what the *&(*^^*^( that was all about?
as a PowerPoint Presentation would be nice, or a PhD thesis
nice to see lovely Rose Tyler again, but she's not a patch on Sarah Jane Smith
I've recorded it to watch alone to enjoy every last minute . I don't care if it's confusing I think David Tennant is splendid and the writing superb.Often when I chat to my teenage grandson at a later date things become clearer. So can't wait to see it ,it's like opening a lovely box of chocolates delicious......Oh you've got me salivating :P :P ;)
My granddaughter loves it, and loves David Tennant, she's not so keen on Alan Titchmarsh, but I love him (only joking). I call it Dr Poo, which makes her very, very cross.

Haha!
I cried, the girls cried, I think even the OH had a tear in his eye. It was when he said "I don't want to go" :'( :'( :'( :'(
R.I.P the David Tennant Doctor and his fab fab hair. :'(
Freya said she didn't like the new doctor and I said "Oh, so won't you be watching it anymore?" She said "Yes, but....I won't like it."
Have to say IT WAS BRILLIANT....
The acting was amazing by all, not sure I 'got' all of it, but was deffinately a tear jerker in this house

I'm with Freya! ;) I've been watching this since it started in the 60s but I did love David Tennant's rendition. He, Patrick Troughton and Tom Baker are tops IMHO.
I think the new doctor looks to much like tennant it would have been nice to see a more mature doctor.
the only thing wrong with Dr Who is the music. but not as bad as the music on Torchwood was
Why does nothing like this ever happen to me on a train?

Completely baffled me also and no 8 year olds to explain it :( I'll just have to give it another go this afternoon, and see if its any clearer.
I was rather disapointed when the Star wars type sequence came on, but the rest of it was good.
I will miss David Tennant as the Doctor, so far hes been my favourite.
I remember being very scared and watching Dr Who from behind the sofa when I was a kid. ;D
Aww, sort of watched the second part again tonight and the Best bits programme afterwards and thoroughly enjoyed it. Takes me back to when I use to hide behind the chair with my brother when we were kids watching Dr Who!
I think they will be hard pushed to better the current Dr Who
My son thinks Phil Jupitus would make a good Doc who.
The OH wants Russell Brand as the Doctor or as the Assistant ::) ::) (more likely to be a monster in my books)
I think both would he hysterical :o
I 've just watched it and ..........wept I know tragic :o
David Tennant was sublime and wonderful to see Billie Piper
Don't think I'll watch the new doctor well............maybe :)

He would be fab. My OH thinks Vic Reeves would be good too.
How about Mark Charnock as Doc Who.
Had to watch it twice to fully understand what was happening.
Did get all teary-eyed towards the end. I though David Tennat was brill as the doctor (even though I had some reservations about him at the beginning).
I will give this new bloke a chance though.

ps. on the down side regarding DT leaving - I did think they made it too long, it would have been better if he'd gone out with more of a bang, like Christopher Eccleston.
I agree a Lord of the Rings ending...it went on and on and on. ;D
I agree with carrot cruncher and froglegs... but he was a brill Dr Who and i will totally miss him, i feel sorry for the new guy as he has such a hard act to follow
Got around to watching the last part yesterday. have to day that while it was a good episode it wasn't quite what i was expecting and left me feeling rather bemused to be honest. I thought the final scenes leading up to the regeneration were too long and drawn out. I would have preferred a more immediate regeneration after the radiation poisoning. Going around to see all the old friends one last time was unnecessary in my view.
Plenty wrong with the return of the Time Lords too. Didn't like the fact that they had become 'bad' in the time war in the first place and even then i thought they were got rid off far too soon and far too easilyafter all the big build up. The 'ascension' business was far too 'Stargate' for my liking too.
Not sure what to make of the new doctor either. When he was first introduced my reaction was something along the lines of a 'WHAT the (expletive deleted)'. he looks far too young to be the doctor. My other reaction was 'Emo Doc!' I thought they had made the wrong choice then and I an still not convinced now after seeing the new doctors entrance at the end of 'End of Time 2'. Not even sure if i want to continue watching the series although i suppose i will have to give it a go just to see if i wrong.
