Title: Good riddance to 2009!
Post by: caroline7758 on January 01, 2010, 13:32:39
I'm trying to convince myself that this has been a bad end to 2009 rather than a bad start to 2010!
First our son (23) split up with his girlfriend of over two and a half years on 29th Dec and is really upset about it.
Then yesterady I dented the bumper on OH's car, which he is supposed to be trading in for a new one tomorrow (didn't realise until this morning as it was dark yesterday). Can't contact the dealer today as it's bank hol so don't know what's going to happen. :(

Ouch Caroline! What a rocky end to the year. I bet the car wasn't a problem? Your son will need tlc.

I'm not surprised I didn't get many replies-I know these are minor problems compared to most, but just needed a moan! Good news on the car today- the guy at Vauxhall was obviously desperate to keep the deal and just said "it'll be going to auction anyway"and still gave us the same trade-in, so we now have a shiny new (to us) car and no insurance claim!
Think son's heart will take a bit longer to mend but he'll get there.
Thanks for your thoughts xx
