Looking forward to the new season in 2010! x
Gardening wise it must be the seed of optimism ;D
so true, you have to have that, terrier! Last year was my first full year with an allotment after years in the veg garden and it's so addictive, looking forward to getting going again!
My oats would be a good start!
;D
onion seed going in tomorrow, , a few tomatoes end of january ;D
Perhaps the seeds of success?
But I have a note to get some cauliflower going.
A friend of mine files all her packets of seeds by month, so she cannot forget anything. If something is due for a repeat sowing the packet is put in the next month after sowing.
Hopefully peppadew chillies ;D.

Why can't I be that organised? I put the seed packets in envelopes with the sowing date on, then forget where I've put the envelopes. They usually turn up 6 months after the sowing date ::)
I promised myself to get some very early toms going this year and stagger the sowing throughout the spring. Good start so far, at least I remembered what I should be doing.
I with you I always seem to loose things. Then go out an buy some more when I had plenty in the first place. If I use part of a packet I never seem to be able to find it again.
Cant set a date, it all depends on the weath, most prob broad beans in cold frame in seed cells, sweet peas and a few little gem lettuce
but planting my spuds is the biggest job, after this is done its all a load of p**s
JIM
seed potatoes get sowed jan 1 2010 in slide bottom box they are already chitted.
Onions, chillis and some broadies I guess, a few Black Krim for a very early tomato experiment...
chrisc
Onions and then leeks . Sown indoors in a propagator, and then move to the heated greenhouse when bigger. I find they germinate quicker in the propagator,
also lots of TLC............. ::) ;D
Fab, thanks guys, given me a seasonal lift just reading that!
I got a seed box for Christmas and it has month dividers so I spent a very pleasant hour filing and sorting my seeds just as your friend does Digeroo!
Reddyreddy - you should have titled this thread "What is the last thing you will sow in 2009?"
It's not 2010 yet, and there's still almost a week to go to get sowing ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
I will be sowing a couple of tomatoes, chillies, onions, leeks, broad beans, Calabrese and cauliflower, (most of my early sowings are for growing on in polytunnel or greenhouse) maybe a couple of peas or mange tout. Not starting until Jan though ;D
I have most of my seeds divided into months too, except for things like toms, chillies, beans, peas and brassicas, which have their own little seed box each to themselves ;D
My BB's are still alive (they're in pots which have been frozen) so the first things will probably be leeks and toms.
:) sowed Cauliflowers, lettuce, carrots, onions and flowers today in lottie greenhouse... if they grow they grow if not no big deal.... the nights are getting lighter, lovely sunny day and I just couldn't help myself.. I had to sow seeds today ;D ;D / shades x
