Would be lovely to see all of the trees decorated by A4Aers! Here's mine, finished it last night. Sorry about the picture colours, I don't really live in a flourescent room! I haven't quite got the hang of 'night time' shots yet, lol. I've got four sets of lights on it but because three of them are twinklies, I couldn't catch them in the photo!

That's my kind of tree! :D
Got mine out of the loft about 1/2 hour ago....bit late this year.
Will post a piccie when its up!
Is that a photo of me on the side Sammy. :o ;D ;D ;D
Your tree looks gorgeous. [attachment=1]
Hoping to put my tree up at the weekend, will do pic then
I love that tree!
Lovely tree Sam. We decorated mine a week ago. i had just come out of hospital from an op and we went to the cottage where we will be for Christmas. Cheered me up and got me into the Christmas spirit :-) I spent all day slowly doing the tree (as I couldn't bend after the op!) whilst my other half set up the broadband we can finally have (now it's come to the village!) the tree is not "well dressed" but it has "evolved" over the years... no room now for anything new... :-[ ::) no spare branches!!!
I like an owl on the top of my tree (as well as other critters amongst the tree too!) ;D
I am hoping for snow this Christmas... it's forecast at the mo...

Enjoy your tree all you lucky peeps, i shall just look at other peoples :'(.
Mat yous looks very nice lucky you.
I know perhaps i could put it in the bathroom :o :o Hahahaha.
Same here Mary, no tree. Family say I am an old misery but as I spend most of my time next door with Lorna and Josh or at one of the other children's houses I just can't build up the enthusiasm. I just share the joy of theirs ;D
Samantha and Mat your trees look lovely.
Lovely trees Sam and Mat.
We aren't putting ours up this year as we have everything everywhere including a new bathroom suite in the front room! OH is putting in a new suite and needs to redirect pipes, then tile it all before putting the new suite in.
We have a small, fibre optic, white tree in the dining room.
Thanks for the nice comments :)
Mat, I
love your tree. The wildlife theme is brilliant and it looks so lovely with the wise old owl watching down (making sure you don't spend too much ... )
To those who've not got trees up this year for one reason or another, do you miss them or rather glad to be rid of the hassle? LOL

And .... more trees please! :D
They are lovely, you have inspired me to grovel about and find the tree. A bit of a humbug about Christmas here, daughter usually arrives and sorts it out.
ours is up ready for the birthday party at the weekend, all glass baubles now, including some of my mum's from 1960 :o ;D
wish I could take a decent one with the lights on but it doesn't half blur :)

'Hassle'? Never! I even love the 'tradition' of the lights, which worked perfectly when they were put away in January, not working come December. One of Life's Mysteries, that.. ;D
I'm going to be in the US for Christmas (thankfully my flight is NOT booked with BA >:() and I'll be arriving on Monday. Praps they'll be fetching in the tree this w/end? Dunno, but I'll certainly be adding the Finishing Touches - I'm taking the chocolate tree decorations 8)
Meanwhile, here at home, I'm having peeps call in on Sat. night for mince pies & drinks & stuff & to boozily bellow out some Christmas carols, and yes, there'll be a Christmas tree, a little white artificial one I've got stored away. and which I'll get out on Friday and be packed away on Sunday. And it will be decorated with carved wooden robins. Wanna Nowl to put on top ;D

Cameras on the blink so the picture's not very goodThe grandaughter 8 "helped
" decorate it and I remember when she was a tiny and her contribution to the decorating was to LICK every bauble :o
Two more lovely trees, thanks Manic and Mac. Am I the only one who loves to look in people's windows at their lights and trees as I walk past or drive past at night? LOL

I wish I could. Think we'll leave it in the garden for as long as the snow stays around. :)

Are you sure it's the camera Denise or have you been having a tincture or two ;D
I can't get a picture of mine without the bludy chandelier getting in the way.
Well Rob it is the season to be merry LOL ;D ;D ;D
Bet you have a great tree.....lots of little chandeliers hanging off it.....maybe ones with flashing lights ;D
Talking of trees ......does anyone have a precious item that you have had in the family for ages hanging on your tree.?
Sadly mine got left behind in a house move once but the newer ones represent other happy memories.Or sad.My cousin died at Christmas a few years back so I put her name on a little angel I had and she hangs on the tree now as a gesture of love to her. :)
our small christmas tree in Sofia's bedroom has all the woollen angels, snowmen, Father Christmases and choir boys that Ray's mum knitted for us 10 years ago when her eyes and hands worked properly, lots of precious ones on this one, 5 of my mum's who died 32 years ago, a cross stitch ornament my sister made for us 10 years ago, some we bought in las vegas when my daughter got married, makes christmas special all over again , almost forgot the alternative fairies our own lovely emaggie made for us ;D

Betula what a beautiful idea.We lost my lovely sister 2 yrs ago and the thought of an angel on the tree with her name on it wonderful. We have a tree in our garden which we grew from seed she gave us and it will be forever "Carols tree" :)
This is ours;

Ours is a little sparse this year. Each year from being babies we bought our 3 boys a couple of decorations each, one in the last pocket of the advent calendar and the other in the toe of their stocking. When they all married and left home I presesented them with a special box at their first Christmas containing all of their special decorations. Maybe OH and I should continue on our tradition and buy one for each other. We also have a tiny doll wrapped in a piece of cloth that we place in the branches. It was in the basket of flowers OH bought me when our first son was born, 35 years ago. It has gone on the tree ever since. There's also a peg doll angel/fairy that middle son made at Nursery.
Don't think much of your tree Chris. :(
It is interesting to read the posts re our trees.
Quite enjoy sitting in the light off the tree, looking through the window at the snow.something very peaceful about it :)
