Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith is one of the best books I've read for ages. I even managed to read on the train yesterday and that's not something I can easily do with all the distractions. I was really sorry to finish it.
Not read it Squash, what's it about. I hate it when a good book ends! ::)
I read "Oliver's Vegetables" (Hodder) yesterday in Pre-School was so Impressed I've just ordered it... and the "fruit" partner... couldn't bring myself to get the one about milk-shakes though... :-[
Squash I enjoyed it and have got the next one The Secret Speech on my books to read list!

I will have to look for another book for tonight but I am blessed with such a bad memory that I can re-read books over and over again and each time is like the first!
I rarely re-read books... but read round the Potter sreies half a dozen times as there was a chronological error that was bugging me... (25 years as as a History teacher) found it in the end.. :)
Thanks Squash and Flighty. I do like a good detective story!
I've just finished the latest in the No1 Ladies Detective Agency series which I love-not serious lit I'm afraid but just lovely gobble them up books. Doing lots of serious reading for my early years degree and need the relief!!
Saddad, what's the error? There's always been something about the story that bugs me too but don't know what. Don't tell me I'll have to re-read them myself please, please, pleeease! :'(
I might unearth my what are you reading? thread as I love talking about books. :)
Sent you an explanatory pm Emmy :)
