Someone has given us a TV for our pavilion.
Probably a stupid question, but is it the premises which have to have a license, or the owner of the telly?
I was just thinking that one of our over-75s could be the 'owner', or doesn't it work like that?
our son had to have a license in uni even though his tv was one of ours so,must be the premises :-\
I would first ask Do you really want one. It is only another object for somebody to break in and steal. Do people actually go to the allotments to watch telly?
If it is something to do when it is raining, don't waste the money on a licence, buy some decent wet weather gear so the rain won't stop play.
Then again if it is educational, like showing gardening dvds and it is not picking up signals I shouldn't think you need a licence.

Seems you will need a license...
Thanks for the replies.
Looks as though the telly will be going to the tip!
