Title: Bank Security
Post by: Digeroo on December 01, 2009, 22:01:17
Set up a new payment account and had to verify the payee via the phone.  Good idea to stop fraud.  But I was trying to pay my credit card off.

I think that payments with a debit card over a certain amount could be verified with a mobile text message.

My bank uses card sentry. It needs me to log on and use my PIN to verify payment. I don't do text and never will do. My mobile  phone is for emergencies only.

My bank text me if my card is used abroad.  I like it.  It just I would like to text them before I use a cash machine, afterwards seems a bit late.
