Bloody hell what a week.
The winds blew my fence down and my cheap plastic greenhouse is no more.
All the leaves blew on to the patio and have blocked the drain.
Then on Sunday night when we were in bed we got robbed. Not sure but they seemed to have bust the cat flap to hook keys or summat. Lost two laptops, both mobiles, a camera, a nice macro lens, my cycle bag, the OHs purse with all her cards and my piggy bank. We were in bed! Hence a couple of restless nights since. Also cats going fecking nuts as they cant get out and there is cat litter everywhere.
Not the best week.
If anyone wants to buy me a virtual beer - Ill take you up!
Bugger!

That's really awful Nick, no wonder you're upset. Hope all the virtual beer does the trick.
Awful for you..........enjoy your drink :)
Oh no, you have my sympathies. Virtual beer coming up!
If there werent innocent kitties involved here, I'd be tempted to superglue something very painful to the inside of that cat flap..
so sorry to hear this >:( Horried to think that someone else has been in your house when you have been in bed we had the same happen to us. Still double check doors and windows now :-\

Just been to the offy so I will be fully relaxed soon!
Funny thing was that Mrs Barriedalenick found the lights on etc. She came back to bed saying "You left all the bloody lights on and the back door open and the cats have dragged your camera bag outside" I just looked at her and said "darling I think we have been burgled" - Bless her she just didn't click.
One thing - the boys in blue were round sharp and followed by the finger print team soon after. No complaints there.
Cheers y'all!
Oh matey that's all crap! It happened to me years ago while we were in bed, I got up, made a coffee, sat in my usual morning stupor - The then OH came down and noticed we'd been ransacked! Never was a morning person! ::)
Scared the life out of me once I realised he had been in the house while we were asleep.
My total sympathies and a little chaser to go with all those beers - "tequila - it makes me happy!"
Lushy x

Joyful nights bring sorrowful mornings. I have this engraved on the bottom of a tankard, but the only way I can read it is to empty the vessel and I don't mean down the sink.
Really sorry to hear this. So glad you are both OK. The Police knocked at my door yesterday to tell me there had been two burglaries in our street. They suggested I took extra care with security, I do my utmost to stay safe but if those scum are determined they will still get in.
Your great grandson looks a bit cross Lorna, have you upset him ;)
LOL. Must sort it Ace. For some reason the pic never got posted......something I have done wrong (again!!!!)
Don't forget that dummy alarm bell boxes can be bought for as little as £5 and dummy domestic cctv cams can be bought for something like £14-£18. They act as quite good deterrants (no, I'm not advertising, I'm trying to be helpful, lol)

Only dummies do dummys. Maplins sell the real thing for under 50 notes. wireless cameras as well so no drilling and cables verywhere. They even play back through a digital photo frame. Good excuse to get one of those and have it running all the time with some badass bikers photos coming up through the family snaps. The scrotes will see them and push off quick leaving a few quid for any damage. I'll send you some of mine if you like. No better not. wouldn't want to stop everybody coming to visit ;D
Allow me Ace
Now I would be scared of that person ;D

Thats brought back memorys Ace and his first proper bike. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Just got a form from the old bill asking along with many other things for the imei number of me stolen mobile.
It handily informs me that I can get the number by pressing *#06# ON THE PHONE. That's right - the STOLEN phone. Now all I have to do is to find the phone so I can properly report it stolen! ::)
I'm surprised they did not ask you to phone the bloke what nicked it and ask him to get the number for you.
That silly little number. I have lost count of the times we have been told on one forum or another how to do it. But pleeese not another number/ password/ PIN to remember. so we don't bother. don't need it until it is too late.
You ain't going to get any of your stuff back anyway. Just fill in the insurance claim and replace it all. But don't do guesstimates. Get the shopkeepers to give a written estimate of the values.
Nick - just caught up with this thread. What a b*******er. Hope you and Mrs Nick get it all sorted soon
Thanks for all the messages everyone - this site is great (even when we argue!) and has really cheered me up this week.
