We have just finished installing a new cloakroom suit and have redecorated the room. However, it looks very clinical and my OH suggests we put up some of my iris pictures.
I have bought the frames but when I look through my selection of photos, there seems to be something not quite right about many of the backgrounds. How I wish now I had put a plain board behind the irises when taking the photos. ::)
I have had a go with MGI Photosuite but it is very limited and the results are not very good.
If any of you peeps are at a loose end and rather bored ...would you be so kind as to have a go at these for me please, given of course that you have the appropriate art programs.
Your help in this matter is much appreciated.
Here are my five pictures:

Apart from the pipework I don't see what is wrong with the backgrounds. Particularly like the boarding in no 1 - a plain white background would be rather boring.
No 4 I would just increase the size of the flower and reduce the size of the window. Do you have Paint? you can just crop the image. The other bits and pieces in the background remind you they are your flowers.
Nice photos lovely irises.
Digeroo, thank you for your suggetions.
In picture 1 it is the distorted shadow of myself that I would have liked to have got rid of!
The second picture I feel is really spoilt by the background.
With number three, I would have liked to have got rid of the cream wall. I had a go at this yesterday in MGI Photosuite. I spent a couple of hours or so copying greenery and then transferring it over the wall in question, but it didn't look right.
I don't have "Paint" but Photosuite does have a spray can. It is very limited though and the results with it yesterday were not very good. I can use it to crop though so will do that with the last two pictures.
I have had a go but I am afraid I have made them much smaller in the process.
Perhaps they could be mounted as a montage/s;

All done in Photoshop 7.
