planed a few last year and all thriving as espaliers. In fact I need to transplant 2 (bad planning I am afraid). Something to look forward to!
Hi
If you log onto the Lidl or the Aldi website you can arrange to have an email sent to you every week which will let you know what will be sold a week in advance.
Duke :)
Fruit trees were in Aldi in February this year. I think Manics lets us know about them.
One of them had them a few weeks ago (lidl I think), but they are generally back in the spring too.
I got mine in February and they have done really well so far. I was amazed with the amount of foliage as they looked like twigs when I got them. The soft fruit canes have also survived but have not done as well as the trees.
Our apricot had lovely peaches on this year, don't worry, once all the christmas stuff has gone, the gardening stuff will be back in ;D

Mine too, but all except one fell off before they ripened.

Mine made little green apricots on last years growth but they all fell off.

So does this mean it was actually a peach. None of my apples from Lidl have been the variety on the label.
yep, said apricot, got 3 lovely peaches this year(went in autumn 08) will look after it a bit better next year ;D
We picked 2 Jonagold apples yesterday from amazingly, a Jonagold tree ;D ;D ;D.
Tesco's have a number of fruit bushes in at the moment for £3 each. Raspberry, gooseberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant and blueberry - I'm sure there was anmother one but I can't remember what it was ::)
