Post by: jimtheworzel on November 18, 2009, 18:33:57
Leyland Road in Penwortham is also believed to be at risk of flooding as the water level in the Ribble continues to rise.  if the river comes over you can say buy buy to any plotting next year it  came over in 1989 and 1999 and devistated the allotments

It happens on a regular basis then, every ten years.

The Ribble was very high indeed when I went over the bridge on London road this afternoon, just hope it was high tide.
