Title: Turkey making telephone noise

Hi

I have a male turkey about 15-16 weeks old and this afternoon it was making a hell of a noise really load like a modern telephone, does any one know if this is good or bad ???

Also am I becoming paranoid ???

Quite normal for young male turkeys to make some odd noises, they're very noisy birds and will shout at anything that worries/startles them, or power tools etc.

Amusing birds at times but definitely not very bright! This is our second year of keeping them and we're still learning but enjoying it.

Could be trying to call a friend for help - Turkeys can struggle with Christmas!
