Title: Here's a funny one.

1. Caulis - hard to grow? Not Cabbages!
2. Cut this for lunch. What the Slugs & Earwigs left weighed 5 1/2lb.
3. Not exceptional for a Winter cabbage - but this is Derby Day - a Summer variety.
4. Like something else earlier this year, cabbagelets all the way up the stem.

The cabbagelets don't usually get eaten by the bugs - don't know how, but they seem to concentrate on the larger head!

Do you find worms in there too Tim? It always amazes my wife when there are compost type worms inside the cabbage... having come up the stalk and settled at the base of the leaves...  ???
