Loved that!!
Some of the reflex Chrysants would have been better for a bit more 'dressing' and as always the intermediate and incurve varieties looked superb!
I liked the singles.
The paper/card weights to keep the petals from flicking up brought back memories.
I was never a lover of the anemone and spoon varieties but there were some nice entries.
Some lovely veg there too, in particular 'the collections'
This was the type of exhibit I always thought of as seperating the men from the boys.
The floral art with its christmas theme was very good. I alway used to marvel at the ladies who did these.
All in all it look if it was a well turned out show, liked the fact that you photographed them before judging, this allowed me to choose 'my winners.
Once again Tony.........thanks I enjoyed that!
people are so talented! and the wreaths were beautiful. Thanks for posting :)
Some of those chrysanths had been at the nationals on fri/sat, came back home to enter in our local show on sunday!!these, [attachment=1] came 3rd in the nat's.
Thank you tonybloke for the ideas- I need to make a Christmas centerpiece for a ladies tea and that one with the red candles, apples etc. will be perfect if I can duplicate it.
if you do, be sure to post a piccy!! ;)
