hi is the courgette: striato di napoli a bush variety or vine?
it says in the real seeds catalogue it's a large bush. I always think it looks like it has it's PJ's on ;D
thanks Twoflower, i was searching online and was getting conflicting info.
I've grown striato d'italia a few times (italia/napoli are they same/similar?) seed from Franchi. I would describe it as a bush that trails.....if you know what I mean, quite a big plant when it does well. But don't think you could grow it upwards so not like trombetto for example. ;D

Seconded, I had some this year and they sort of grow sideways slowly.... by the end of the summer the "active point" will be about 3 feet away from the planting hole..... like the standard Green Bush courgette.... There are climbing courgettes and for the lif of me I can't remember the neame... I've got a pack of seeds somewhere ....
