Title: I hate those mieces to pieces
Post by: grawrc on November 04, 2009, 11:09:38
Yesterday I got to my plot after a couple of weeks' absence due to my cracked ribs. The peas and broad beans I had had time to cover are up and looking healthy. Unfortunately mice have raided the uncovered ones and clearly the rabbits have been munching the tops too! :'( :'(

Anyhow they're covered now so hopefully some will survive but I'll need to get some more seed to fill the gaps.

Just shows it's worth the effort of putting in some protection though.

I have learned to cover everything .The rabbits scoff everything.

I lifted some ground cover the other day and a little mouse was staring up at me,so cute but such a pest.  :)

Betula - I think another way to describe groundcover is mouse duvet.  There was a whole family living under my strawberry bed :o :o
