For those within easy (or comfortable) reach of London's Hyde Park, the Winter Wonderland is back again this year and it's free entry :)
I haven't been before and I'm very much looking forward to it (ahem, no I don't have any children but my husband appears to be married to one)
It has the Giant Observation Wheel, the Circus, a huge ice skating rink, a Santa Express (darn it, there's an age limit!) icy toboggan run, lots of Euro-styled market stalls, cafes, bars etc etc (tis all on the website) and I'm posting this up because it seems there are deals on family tickets at the moment (the wheel/circus/skating have to be paid for)
I've just booked the wheel/circus combo for myself, hubby, sister and her husband ;D They don't know yet but I'm treating them to it and some dinner. Thought I'd give the skating a miss, I have enough trouble keeping upright at the best of times, LOL!
Anyone got any children I could borrow ...? ;D ;D
I've got two you can borrow Sammy, what time do you want them. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Went there last year.
We went on the wheel, nearing the top my OH was looking a bit worried, so I went to swap sides to calm her, but of course this rocked the pod, at which point she totally freaked out.
Sounds brilliant, i coulden`t face going on the wheel though, bit scary for me.
