Title: Toads and climbing question!

 :) I have a massive toad in my coldframe which is quite high off the ground, my question is, how did it get in there? any ideas? / shades x

toads are known for burrowing , is that possible ??

Perhaps some one picked him up and put him/her in there  either to eat the slugs for you or even as a joke to see your reaction?

Unless the sides are made from glass, it climbed there! You going to let it hibernate there?

thanks for your replies, day off today ,going to check up on the old girl? (the girls are bigger aren't they ?)

yes Ollie she can hibernate there as the only reason I found her was to put my mushroom hay bales in the coldframe, so she should be very happy in there ;D/ shades x

we don't have a pond in our garden (yet) and each year the toads climb the walls between the gardens to go to and from a pond for their annual get together  ;D
