It's been raining here all day so I've spent most of it reading, along with plenty of tea and chocolate biscuits.
Tomorrow I'm off to visit friends I don't see very often for dinner and tea. They're both keen gardeners so we'll have lots to talk about!

Thanks to Royal Mail some cards and presents are still on their way to me so I'll be celebrating some more when they arrive!
The chocolate cake was delicious and I ate a modest (ahem!) slice with decorum, than had another slice! I was given a rather bigger bit to bring home with me!  :)

Oops - not very good on birthdays! (I was at a weddings, well that's much excuse....)

It sounded as if you had a good time. (And I like the idea of celebrating an unbirthday. The Queen does it, so it should be good enough for the rest of us....)
