One year Homebase had two big buckets of seeds by the door, very cheap, and had a good sort through.  Someone at the allotment told me and I rushed down on my bike. Seeds are still full price this year but keep looking and hoping.  :( :(  Think they should sell them under the counter and in plain brown packets as it is the pictures on the packets that is so tempting.  Gardening magazines tempt me too with their free packets of seeds, but the magazine is often more expensive than the seeds,  I am a hopeless case, but suppose I could be addicted to clothes (boring) which would be much more expensive.

Don't you know to kick the habit you're supposed to stop seeking out your old haunts?
Nobody has any shame these days.

That's exactly why I need a 12 step plan.  :(  Where else would I go? *Braces herself for the jibes*.

Went to Wyvales yesterday, found the 'bargain bucket'.....20 packets of seeds for £2 I think is excellent value! 8) ;D

But then I found a load of sprouting seeds in there, so ended up buying all the ones I could find as I love sprouted seeds in salads.......... ::)

There were some at 10p at our local store.  Got some sprouting seeds, some of which I might try as  green manure.  If it fails I will only loose 10p.

Got some coloured leaf broccoli and some parsley.  Most of what was left was rocket and some other herbs.
