Title: Compost material?
Post by: grannyjanny on October 23, 2009, 16:20:41
Daughter collected a trug of damsons for us but we were unable to collect so they went soggy, would they be OK to put in the composter or should we just dispose of them?

I made damson jam a couple of weeks ago, and after seeing how many stones I removed I would not like the idea of all of those in the compost, so I would not compost them.

Compost, and keep it covered. Anything which germinates will die miserably.
