Your visitors are much more youthful than I anticipated! For some reason I was expecting middle-aged, middle management; :-X they look like post-grads. :D Did you all have fun? (And did Kev behave? :o)

Everything worked out fine thanks Deb. I printed out a fact sheet about the allotments, then told them that I would be happy to answer any questions. I was a bit worried that they wouldn't ask anything....but they did! Three of them spoke very good English and were very interested in how we run the allotments. They wanted to know things like - how was the committee chosen, who allocated plots to new tenants, were any given priority, did people sell their produce, who judged the competitions...
They were very polite and they all thanked me after their visit. One of them gave me her email address and I've sent some photos to her.

Yes, they all look very young. One of the women gave me her card and she works for the Police Dept. in Tokyo. They are over here for three months to get experience of our local government and to improve their English.
They were really nice. Not interested in gardening, but very interested in the running of the site.
Kev was a real gentleman. I think he had been a bit worried that they would try to take advantage of him like Ower Visitors last month did, but he soon relaxed when he saw how polite they were.
Seriously - they absolutely loved the scarecrows and took lots of photos of them. :)

Hey I ope you aint referring to me and ower Tone when you talk about the visitors last month. It doesn't surprise me that they wanted a photo of him.
They will probably go back and tell everyone thats what you get like when you work an allotment for too many years ;D

Ooh Shirl, I hope Ower Kev isn't reading this. After the trauma he went through last month it might just tip him over the edge.....
What is it av a go at Kev week, :( I'm still having counciling after the trauma last week. :P :P :P
didn't know you worked for enfield council ;D well it's that time of year, getting close to corny kev christmas knicker time and we are bored 8)
