Those cauliflowers look brilliant and the broccoli.  I have some lettuce from Grow your own or whatever and don't like it that much, seems a bit floppy.l

Lovely caulis---I cannot grow them like that on this soil,it`s too light.

I did take 3 full size globe artichokes yesterday-is my memory failing or is that unusual?. I don`t remember having a 2nd crop before

Picked a few nice size strawberries on Sunday - really surprised that they were so sweet.

Still picking Ambassador peas, little gem lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber(GH)beetroot, Some broccoli to come. I would like to know the variety of cauli TeeGee

Variety; Thompson F1 from Johnson's

Sown 13th June

Germination 4 days

Pricked out 21st June

Planted out around 15th July.

The Calabrese ( Marathon) was sown & planted out at the same time!

Now you know all my secrets!  ;D 8)
