The council in norwich has finally agreed that stuff needs to be done with the rules and all that and have agreed to let me set up a forum so all tennants from the norwich area can talk in one place. its only very basic at the moment but does the job well. give us a look if youve got 5 mins. even if youre not from norwich, we welcome all tennants from the norwich/nofolk and surrounding area's
thanks

Hi lightyears,
Bluebell rd site already has a website with a forum. We could use that especially as if the council behave as if they are the only site in the city, The rest of us are just poor relations.
Theres nothing wrong with existing tenancy agreements and rules but the council are ineffective when it comes to applying them. (Heard the one about the bloke with five plots, a tractor and a van full of crates? Where is his market stall? )
I have not seen an allotment officer on a site in 6 years, they need to get out the office more and speak to people.
However I will join the other forum and inform other plot holders about it.
Columbus.
btw: I see from your links that you are also a photographer - you aren`t the person arranging canes for a photoshoot and snapping pictures of my pumpkins and gourds without permission are you?
ive found the bluebell site very stuffy and underused, plus the council wants a forum for all users of allotments in norwich, regardless of were they come from. regarding your photographic issue, it inst nothing to do with me ;D i would ask first. I might like to point out, i have overall control of the forum, not the council, they have a small say in it and i can veto there decisions.
Hi lightyears,
I joined the other forum, I will be sure to inform others. We have tight group of long term users on the Woodlands site some of whom will probably join and contribute.
It would be useful if council allotment officers read the site otherwise how else will they get to meet plot holders except for media events for visiting dignitaries at Bluebell road?
The photographer thing is very odd ??? I`m told they were very interested in my plot with very nice cameras. I had loads of pumpkins and gourds out on the grass and in my fruit cage. (now moved off site) They do photograph well. I just wish people would ask.

i understand 2 of the allotment officers are reguarly reading the forum, they cant join for the obvious reasons, the other chap who runs it with me is trying to arrange some events at different site around the city to promote the other sites which dont carry the bluebell name, like yours on mine. i will ask around some photographers i know up that way and ask them to think first if it is them.
