Post by: macmac on October 12, 2009, 10:07:02
I recycle,we have most of our bills paperless and then THUMP on the doorstep
Yellow Pages. That must be several years worth of my paperless bills in one go.Does anybody really use it anymore ?If I want a plumber etc I ask friends for reccomendations.I hadn't even taken the plastic off the last edition!!!

One word of warning about going paperless...though it might not be the case for all banks.

Should you have to replace your debit/credit card because of theft/loss etc.....you lose all your past statements online.

I down load mine and store them on DVD. Sometimes is can be useful to see what bill I payed when, several years back, but don't like having them on the hard disk because of security and incase it goes bang.
