................or are people stupid.
I have always suffered from catarrh, my doctor prescribed Ephedrine tablets for a number of years. Then they were banned and it was substituted with Phenylephrine (Sudafed tablets), I decided to buy these until they increased greatly in price when I started to look around for a cheaper option with the same contents.
I found that Morrisons were doing Cold Relief Capsules and Non-drowsy Decongestant capsules with the same content. I checked with my doctor who agreed they were suitable.
Now! Cold Relief capsules cost 75p and Decongestant Capsules £1.06 for 16. The contents are exactly the same and the capsules are identical, so why the difference in price. Mind you, the Sudafed capsules are nearly £3.00.
all things are priced at whyat the market will stand!
no doubt the shop also sells bottles of water, pre-grated cheese, peeled and sliced veg, etc etc,
'buyer beware' used to be a phrase oft quoted, ;) ;)
