Nearly all of the Spagnas have been blanched and froz, and nearly all the Borlottis have been eaten (already) ;D
Do you eat your borlottis fresh ie not dried?
we have some fresh, but mostly dried. The big white ones didn't dry very well for me last year -they'll get frozen
I have found that white beans are much more prone to mildew tend to store them still in the pods. Unfortunately they take up more space.
I love dried beans, they're like jewels. I have a huge quantity of shiny black Cherokee Trail of Tears, I quite enjoy letting them run through my fingers.
I could put together quite a montage... :)
I have cherokee from last year and this year thanks to Lishka I have quite few Goldfield beans and thanks to another forum member who sent me some coco sophie I have loads of seeds. Found it quite difficult not to eat the latter cos they are so nice. Wish I could remember who sent them to me.(old age)
