Title: Hydrangea - Never flowered
Post by: ellie2cats on October 07, 2009, 00:13:36
I was given a Hydrangea about 4 years ago.  It was in flower with a pretty white/blue flower.  Sadly it has never flowered again.  I prune it in March and feed it.  Perhaps I don't feed it enough.  Looks very healthy and the leaves are very large and green  but no sign of a flower.

Any suggestions or is it ready for the dump?

How are you pruning it? The timing is right but your method may be suspect.

Doesn't too much lime in the soil affect the flowers......?
