anyone else use this service, can't get on to it, we have 2 films owing and they have taken the money out of the account this month

We're subscribers - just went on to the site and see what you mean. A bit of a vague message. Just checked the two DVDs we have from them but no contact details or phone numbers for you - sorry. How long is it since you were due the new discs as we usually get ours about three days after we send them back. Could it be a problem with the postal strikes, unrelated to the message on the website?

i have been with love film a few years now i used to be with screen select but love film bought them out, used to get  a very fast turn round with screen select but love film are a wee bit slower but still it a good service i think, even with the postal strike i have been getting 2 films on average a week.
they are doing maintenance on the site and it should be running again in the morning if they dont suffer any glitches.

thanks, everyone, I guess the post isn't helping..I went in through the visitors site, couldn't remember my password, sent for a reminder and it's come back saying it has no record of my e mail  ???
anyway, I'll leave it until morning and see if it's righted itself, if not, Thanks, ceres, I'll give them a ring  :)

This is another number too.We use this facility and usually get quite a fast turnaround.

Seems the site is undergoing maintenance at the moment.

managed to get back on it this morning, it says we have 2 rentals to enjoy until 13th october, I didn't know there was a limit, they're only sending the first out today so we'll have to get watching  :)

I would query that with them manic, as my understanding is that you can, in theory, keep the discs as long as you want and there's no late fees. Just checked my account and I have two discs - one since June and one since August and neither say anything about needing to be back by a certain date.

thanks shonam, I'll contact them, the first film has just arrived but we are too busy until sunday to watch it  ???

We can confirm to you that the new monthly quota will be allocated on your account on 13th of every month. Please be advised that the unused rentals cannot be carried to the next monthly quota.

so we're paying for it but, if we don't use it before 13th month(and we were away for 2 weeks), we lose it , bit upset, actually  :-\

If they've materially changed the terms of your contract, they should have offered you the option to cancel the contract.  But that's probably not what you really wanted.

well, I've sent back asking why it's changed, also explaining I didn't realise there was a time limit, we'll wait and see what they say  :)
