How exciting! Tell us more about him/her - age, first dog?, name, sex, photo...
Start training straight away - don,t start bad habits :)
Obedience training as soon as its had all its jabs and can meet other dogs. Set rules about things like jumping on sofas, going upstairs, jumping on beds etc. and make sure the whole family knows them and is consistent so it doesn't get confused.
Give it a space where it knows it can rest secure and undisturbed if it wants to. Ours has her own cage with her bed, water, toys and chewy things but is otherwise sociable now she's used to us.
Give it good quality food and lots of love and cuddles and play.
his name is ABE
he is fine well formed brindle pup
i will post pics when we have him

We had a red boxer named Buster, who lived his entire life, even to old age, like a very naughty, mischievious schoolboy! No malice, very energetic, sometimes frustrating, but very much loved.
i love boxers .had 1 for many years, they never ever grow up !!! you are so lucky .pics asap
