Oh grrrrr! We're off on a holiday for a week starting Friday. Just typical! >:( ;D
I've got some fleece ready for my plot.... the Oca gets first shout, then the seedlings, there's a butternut trying to squeeze out another couple of fruits that I'll fleece up too, but I'm a bit stuck as to what to do with my Blue Hopi corn.... the plants are huge.....
Beeb forecast is 6c for here.
Me too for fleecing the oca. WIll have to try to do somehting with the chillis / peppers / aubies, loads of unripe fruit. Most of the pumpkins/squashes are ready for cutting, sweetcorn and toms are almost finished so they can take thier chances.
That's why I have the Oca in the big greenhouse... :)

How many times do you need telling. It is still the middle of summer here. I was out this morning in shorts and a tee shirt and still getting warm.
Good on yer ACE,
I too am running around the place in me smalls and hope that it does not shock the neighbours.
Still baking here and no sign of rain as yet, let alone frost.
We was in our Tee shirts today here in Brum. Have labelled all me dahlias and got the squash in,picked the fruit. Will get some lettuce in on wednesday just in case . Nowt to worry about on the plot really really.
Warm and sunny today at the plot, Metcheck (now working properly) says minimum temp 6 degrees here tonight, but my greenhouse thermometer has already recorded one reading of 0 degrees last week though!
Well, we really haven't had much summer here, most unusual for us. Though it has been very humid.
Last night temps went down to 3c, furnace is on.
Still a few runners coming, I thought they had all been picked, but Gerry is hanging on for the very last one, wish they would last at least until Thanksgiving, October 12th.
