Title: Sweet peppers courtesy of Lidl
Post by: Squash64 on September 22, 2009, 15:10:49
I bought some Romano sweet red peppers from Lidl and saved the seeds.  I gave one of the plants to a friend on a nearby plot and this is the result.

I did exactly the same thing, saved some Romano seeds from a supermarket pepper and had the best crop off of them! ;D ::)

I did the same last year using Tesco's Ramio organic pepper, country of origin UK, this ensures that it should be OK to grow in this country – worked really well
