Just been "bottoming" the spare room for the grandchildrens fortnightly stay and the wallpaper around and under the window is coming away ::)it's all crusty like mounds of salt ::) ::)I don't think it's damp anybody any ideas...solutions ???
Condensation ?
I expect it is the mineral salts being drawn out of the plaster by a bit of condensation. If it is a spare room I expect it is not aired as much as the rest of the house.
Peel the paper down gently, wash the wall in an a anti- fungal wash, when it is dry paint it with pva to seal the wall, let that dry, then stick the paper back over it.
Cheers Slugkiller(what do your friends call you ?) & Ace I'll get the OH on that one :)
The call me ACE, but that just makes me feel like a clown ;)
