Title: Three sisters success
Post by: Digeroo on September 16, 2009, 17:28:07
I reached over for a corn cob and there they were three lovely large butternut squash nestling amongst the corn/beans.

Got things better organised.  Planted winter squashes rather than courgettes, no need to pick until corn finished, planted a seed bean instead of a green bean so can leave until corn finished, and things are much easier.  Simple, all sister doing well.

We had the same problem. Alot of them were definately past their best by the time we got to them! Won't be doing it again.
