A couple of charity shops in Leeds were sent threatening letters for selling Christmas cards in August! They said they had to do it to keep up with the big stores. :(

I don't believe it, haven't you all bought your Christmas presents and wrapped them up.  ;D ;D  Perhaps if we had Christmas every five years it would be better, but the children do love it, when they are young, but then it is just money, money, money.  Saw tins of Quality Street, Roses, buy one get one free.  Would have got some but too heavy to carry home.  Only eat 2/3/4/10 a night, so wouldn't last until Xmas.

The worst of it is the flack the staff will get over it.  We've still got halloween and bonfire night to go yet.  And I work in a super store 2/3 times a week doing promotions.  And although I don't work for the store I'll still get my ear bent about the pudding and Xmas cakes as I'm promoting a new lunch roll.  The stand will be as far away from them as possible. ;D ;D ;D
