Going around ourplots on the Open Day, I saw some late planted DFB the plotholder called 'Pongo' which apparently are designed to be a late sowing filet type. They looked very good, anyone grown/tasted them? Any good? ???
I tried a late bean last year. Good germination but eaten by slugs and beaten by frost.
Once the greenhouse is up and running will give them another go under glass.
Go on then Deb... "spill the beans" who was it? ;D

Joyce on plot 90/91... ;D
Thought it must be... :)
I got these from Marshalls a couple of years ago, and we had loads of lovely beans. Repeated the process this year, and the slugs have had all the plants. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Good late crop, though. :)
Sounds like they could be worth a go......if I can keep the slimies away! ;D
