Title: The GUARDIAN's 10:10
Post by: tim on September 01, 2009, 17:28:59
Good for them!

We already make conscious savings, but it has given me new impetus to do more in the belief that we may not be the only ones making the effort. Problem - it's a listed stone-built house.

Any ideas?

In a similar position Tim, with a listed building ! And when Council Officers aren't happy about ANY changes, the thought of something like solar panels would send them into orbit !!

Here's the link if anyone is wondering what Tim is on about  ;)

Yes - as you may have seen, it took us 2 months of to-ing & from-ing & visiting  to get a Sky disk!! (But we won the Ashes!!)

All we can hope for is roof insulation - we don't have 'lofts' because they are bedrooms, 'box' room' & STUDIO - where all the wonderful paintings are created!!

We'll see?

I know the feeling , Tim- we'd love to insulate our walls but we haven't got any cavities.

So it's a choice between ART and insulation eh?!
