my sweet corn tassles have all gone brown but insides are not yellow and small
but are extremely sweet! are they ready or should i wait longer.

tried another cob earlier but juice is still clear. me thinks we need some more sun to ripen. can i make popcorn fom this stuff or do i need another type of corn?

Pooopcorn tends to be the harder starchier varieties of maize rather than the sweet ones, had my first Earlibird tonight.... grilled as it is the only way to eat sweetcorn...

It will POP Simmo but will need to be very old... long after it would be fit to eat as "sweetcorn" I reckon your stuff will be ready within the week..  :)

I leave it well wrapped in its leaves, so it can't dry out. You have to watch it when you unwrap it, it's a lot hotter inside than you think.
