Right you clever lot, can you help me with three clues in a quiz.
All the answers begin or end with the sound 'LOO'
A peak near Denver, Colorado 7.8
Unusual nail cut 7
The 'Girls in Blue' who performed from 1936 -1976 5,5,5
The quiz is to raise money for toilets at a church!!
Girls in Blue...Royal Naval Wrens? No idea about the others, if you find the answers please let us know?!
;)
"girls in blue" - Luton Girls Choir 8)
Sorry I haven't a cLUE. ;D
I found the anagram for unusual nailcut -- lunatic
I found a ref to the girls inblue..as donald ducks girlfriends nieces but they're April,May and June so the number of letters don't tally
And the rocky mountains are by Denver but all i've probably done is confused the issue ??? ??? ::)
Not confident of these answers but nothing ventured as they say;
A peak near Denver, Colorado 7.8
Annies Mountain
Unusual nail cut 7
Scratch if finger nail
Masonry if fixing type
Think lunatic is right (sounds like loo)
and think Luton Girls Choir is good
think probably second word is Mountain and first word starts or ends with the sound loo.
Some of you are clever, not me. Let me know the answers.
